Often defined by the press as "not your typical furniture store," I.O. Metro has few direct competitors.Through its innovative in-house product development team and network of sourcing options in 14 countries, I.O. Metro is able to differentiate itself from monotonous furniture choices so common in the furniture industry today. I.O. Metro's incomparable speed, ability to fulfill consumers' needs, and outrageously low prices enable the company to capture all levels of residential and commercial furniture consumers' interests.

Product Development

How are we different? At I.O. Metro. we are revolutionizing the furniture industry with our unique approach to introducing new products. The process begins with our in-house product development team brainstorming for new ideas based upon customer needs and sales associate feedback. We then transform those requests into tangible evidence that we, at I.O. Metro, go above and beyond to distinguish ourselves from the monotony that is the furniture industry today. CAD drawings and renderings are created, and each items undergoes a rigorous approval process before final revisions are made. We then choose which of our global sources is best suited for production, a sample is made and approved, and the manufacturing process begins. Products soon arrive in our stores where your I.O. Metro Experience begins.
